Snow in Salt Lake

We spent the night in Salt Lake after a hard couple of days. The kids slept great and when we looked out the window the next morning everything was covered in snow. Kennedy was so excited to play in the snow but we were going to Idaho to spend time with family. We let them play in the parking lot for a few minutes before we left. Snow makes Utah beautiful.

Dane and Temple Square

Uncle Dane!! Kennedy asks daily when she will get to see Uncle Dane. The second day of the trip we finally got to see Dane. We spent the day in Salt Lake City at Gateway and Temple Square. The kids were feeling better but Aunt Kally was feeling pretty bad. We spent the evening walking around Temple Square, Dane chased Zach most of the evening. The kids loved the fountains, and Zach even put his leg and foot in one. I am so glad I had Dane and Kally to help with the kids because they were wild. It was a beautiful night and so fun to spend with Uncle Dane. After we said goodbye to Dane we made a quick stop at Deseret Book, Zach tried to get out of the stroller, and flipped it with two full 32oz Diet Cokes. It was the perfect end to another crazy day on our trip.

Webster Family

The first day in Utah we went to Heber/Midway to see the Webster Family. We had a lot of catching up to do-2 new children since we last got to visit. It was fun for us to finally meet Tiffin and to introduce Zachary(#2). I could not believe how much Zac had grown, he was so darling. Kennedy and Tiffin both showed their strong personalities. Meagan was crazy to let us visit because baby #3 will arrive the beginning of January. We wish that we could spend more time with Wes, Meagan, Zac, and Tiffin! Hopefully we will get to see them again soon!

Crazy Utah trip

Kally, Kennedy, Zach and myself spent 5 days in Utah and Idaho the beginning of this month. It was a wild five days. The night before we left we stayed in a hotel in Cincinnati. At 2a.m. Kennedy was coughing and said she didn't feel good. I made the mistake of telling her to come get in bed with me. She walked over to my bed and threw up all over me. She was very sick for the next few hours and around 4:30a.m. I went for Sprite, Advil, and to find a washer and dryer to clean the sacred blue blanket. Kennedy takes her blue blanket everywhere and Kris had washed it out in the sink so it was a little wet to take on the plane. After no sleep I loaded Zachary, Kennedy, and blue blanket on the plane and off we went on our adventure. Kennedy was still sick on the plane but Zach did great. We arrived in Salt Lake crammed all of our stuff in the rental car and started for Provo. We stopped by Costco for a few items for our little trip. Zach was in the cart and we were looking at books for the kids. I looked down and saw a nasty liquid all over the floor and then realized it was coming from Zach's pant legs. I rushed him outside, stripped him down and cleaned him up in 20 degree weather. I was ready to go home at this point but I am happy to say that the trip got a little better and we got to see many friends and family members.

Zach and Santa

When we were shopping at Gateway in Utah we got to see Santa. Kennedy would not get anywhere near Santa. Zachary wanted to talk to Santa but would not sit on his lap. I snapped a picture or two and then noticed a huge sign that tells you not to use personal cameras-oops!
